Welcome Weatherford Clayton

Weatherford Clayton, MD was introduced as the 2022-2024 President of Collegium Aesculapium at the annual meeting on September 28th 2022. He is an emeritus General Authority Seventy for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Prior to his calling to the Seventy, he practiced as an OB-GYN for 28 years.

Welcome to Collegium Aesculapium - An association of Latter-day Saint Medical Professionals.

OUR MOTTO: Teachers who heal and healers who teach.

OUR MISSION: As medical professionals we strive to emulate the attributes of the Savior, the Master Healer and Teacher, as we serve, teach and minister to our patients with the goal to help build the Kingdom of God and assist in gathering Israel. 

DESCRIPTION: We are medical professionals who are dedicated disciples of Jesus Christ. 

-As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we sustain the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve and align with revealed doctrines and principles.

-We provide excellent multi-topic medical education in an atmosphere of reverence for all of God’s children.

-We facilitate collaborative opportunities through liaisons with other service organizations. 

-We assist members in preparing to serve full time missions with medical assignments.

-We make and strengthen friendships with fellow professionals through devotionals, educational meetings, travel groups, and other connecting activities.

 

Collegium Aesculapium Foundation is an Organization for LDS physicians and health professionals (physicians of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints).  An independent organization that is based upon medicine and service, from the local level to the international level. We hope that this new site meets the needs of its members. If members have any comments or suggestions, or requests that would better serve their local chapter, feel free to email us and let us know.
